Pursuant to Sec. 9(3) of Germany’s Cooperative Societies Act, on September 16, 2015, DATEV’s Executive Board specified target values for the percentage of female employees in the two levels of management below the Executive Board. The Executive Board defined the first level of management as executives, and the second level of management as the department heads. The Board defined a target value of 22% for each of the two levels of management. At the end of the reporting period on December 31, 2016, the percentage of female executives stood at 20% and the percentage of female department heads at 25%. Pursuant to Art. 9, Sec. 4 of Germany’s Cooperative Societies Act, on September 17, 2015, the Supervisory Board itself specified a target percentage of female members of its board of 16.66% (percentage of female members at the end of the reporting period on December 31, 2016: 25%) as well as for the Executive Board of 20% (percentage of female members at the end of the reporting period on December 31, 2016: 20 %). The goal is to achieve the targets by June 30, 2017, at the latest.
